Email Policy

MergeGuide sends commercial email to business contacts at companies we believe may benefit from our policy-as-code compliance product. We designed this program to comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 7701–7713) and applicable state laws governing commercial electronic mail.

Controls applied to every commercial email

• Accurate sender identity and “From” header.
• Non-deceptive subject lines reflecting the message content.
• Clear identification as a commercial solicitation where required.
• A physical postal address for MergeGuide, Inc.
• A functional one-click mechanism to opt out of future messages.

How to opt out

Every commercial email from MergeGuide contains an Unsubscribe link. Clicking the link removes the recipient from our outreach list automatically. We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days of receipt, as required by CAN-SPAM, and maintain a permanent suppression list to prevent future contact.

Transactional email

This policy addresses commercial solicitation email only. Transactional email (including messages to customers regarding their MergeGuide account, product functionality, security notices, and billing) is governed by our Terms of Service and is not subject to this policy.
